Repeal the Maryland "Tech Tax"
In one of those fiascos that occur at the end of legislative sessions, the Maryland legislature passed a tax on information services that will go into effect on July 1st unless repealed. That tax would put Maryland industry at a disadvantage with respect to the the industries of other states. That is an important industry for our economic future!
Governor O'Malley has come up with a good plan to substitute a tax on those earning more than $1,000,000 per year and spending cuts. It has to be passed quickly by the Maryland legislature and the Tech Tax repealed.
