Food prices are spiking.

Several days ago I posted a comment on this blog on the increase in triggered by Charles Kenny's recent article on the spike in food prices. The graph presented above indicates that corn, wheat and soybean prices are all increasing this summer from already high levels. A lot of poor people are going to be poorer still, and a lot of people are going to go hungry.
