IDDRC-B CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY

In the late 1960s a research institute in Bangladesh pioneered a treatment that has saved 40 million lives worldwide. That gives the International Centre for Diarrheal Disease Research-Bangladesh something real to celebrate. This article describes some of the history and current challenges of a unique biomedical research institute located in one of the poorest countries in the world.
