A FEW GOOD RESOURCES ON ECONOMICS OF TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION

These are a few good sites for those interested in the topic (in no special order):

Congressional Budget Office (of the U.S.) Computers and Information Sciences Website
The CBO provides analytic support to the Congress, seeking to provide an independent and balanced view. This site has a number of papers prepared by CBO staff that are strong on measurement of the ICT revolution, and its economic impacts.

W. Brian Arthur’s Santa Fe Institute Homepage
Prof. Arthur is perhaps best know, as is the SFI, for studies on complexity theory. Arthur has lead in the applications of complexity theory in economics, and has been especially important in recognizing the increasing returns to added investments in some technologies. His website provides links to some of his papers.
