Deaths in Iraq

The sad news of the 3,000th death of an American soldier in Iraq lead me to these important websites:
* Iraq Coalition Casualty Count
*
Wikipedia: Casualties of the conflict in Iraq since 2003
Of course, Iraqi deaths are much more numerous. So too, the numbers of sick, wounded and disabled exceed the numbers of deaths.

Little notice is taken of the fact that almost as many (6,640) have had to be evacuated by air as a result of non-combat injuries as from wounds (6,670), while a further 18,183 had to be air-evacuated due to illness!

In the new year, let us resolve to do what we can to stop this war!
