The Tech Museum of Innovation presents the Tech Awards to honor innovators from around the world who are applying technology to serve humanity. Innovators are nominated by the public; a panel of international judges chooses 25 Laureates in the categories of environment, economic development, education, equality, and health. The top five Laureates-- one in each category--receive $50,000 each at The Tech Awards in November.
This year for the first time, USAID is partnering with the Tech Museum to nominate and promote Tech Laureates to applaud and generate innovation for international development.
