Consider this when you buy consumer electronics!

The Enough Project today released a report in which it assesses the degree to which major electronics companies guard against use of materials which depend on mines in conflict areas. Minerals mined in the Congo and other conflict areas controlled by insurgents and militant factions, often mined in the worst circumstances, are sold to finance the conflict. Companies are encouraged to buy from other sources, even (if as is probable) they cost slightly more.

Here are the Conflict Minerals Company Rankings.
