A Thought About Speech Writing

Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address was 246 words long.

John Kennedy's Inaugural Address was 1364 words long and was delivered in 14 minutes.

Both speeches used short sentences. Neither uses a long word where a shorter word would do. Neither includes the word "I". Both live in history.

To communicate with others, maybe you should hone down your message and express is in short declarative sentences.
