You can get a lot of facts into a data base, but as Hans Rosling points out, you then have to figure out what those facts mean. As in my earlier posts, it is important to figure out what you want to know and what facts would allow you to develop that knowledge, but there is an interaction with your ability to draw meaning from facts and the facts you choose to use.

Drawing meaning from facts
