One of the Major Problems of Our Country

"Low-income students made up at least half the public school student population in 17 states in 2011, a marked increase from 2000, when four states topped 50 percent."

Want to bet how many of those kids come from black, Hispanic or lower social class white households? Want to bet how many of those kids will score low on the international PISA comparison tests? Want to bet on how much their lack of social mobility will cost the nation and how it will threaten the retirement of their own and related generations?
