The 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (January 5-8) in Las Vegas has 1.6 million square feet of exhibition space and is attracting 2,500 exhibitors and 130,000 attendees from around the world. At the Show, Yahoo and Google (attending for the first time) are showcasing new services to deliver television programming to computers and cell phones, highlighting a tying together of services and devices. Reportedly, companies such as Intel Corp., Nokia Corp., Cingular Wireless LLC and media giants are "lining up for partnership deals to make sure they're part of that revolution."
