A Thought on Reading Zakaria
I continue to read Fareed Zakaria's The Future of Freedom it has occurred to me that everybody that he mentions who predicted the future of political systems was wrong. The administrators and theorists from the colonial powers in the past, to the people leading decolonization, to the international development specialists. Maybe the key conclusion of the book is that almost everyone is wrong about such predictions, and if someone is right we probably won't realize it until his/her predictions have been turned into history.
