Natalia Bronshtein, a professor and consultant who runs the blog Insightful Interaction, used data from the Siri Arms Transfer Database to map all major transfers of conventional weapons in 2013. Russia is the largest player, exporting $8.23 billion in arms that year, while the U.S. follows behind with $5.99 billion. China is a distant third, exporting $1.83 billion in 2013.  Basically, Russia, the USA and to a lesser extent supply arms to the world.
